Samarium Discs

Samarium discs are a type of flat, circular-shaped permanent magnets, which are made of the alloy samarium and cobalt. Due to their shape, they can be intended for various applications, especially those requiring high lifting and holding.

The standard dimensions of the samarium discs are shown below. Other sizes are also available on request.

Format:

Samarium discs have high corrosion resistance, so it does not need any coating to do the protection function.

Maximum working temperature:

As our discs are made of samarium, they offer a high resistance to high temperatures. This samarium disc allows a working temperature of 300ºC, so it is usually used for applications such as oven fastening.
