The VEM50/CF is a door holding system is composed of an electromagnet incorporated into a protective box, with a manual release button.

Method of Operation:

The Electromagnet unit is attached to the wall and the counter-plate, to the door.  The electromagnet holds the door by magnetic attraction against the counter-plate.  The door is released when the electric power current is turned off.

The return to the holding position is made by bringing the door back and making contact between the electromagnet unit and the counter-plate.
