The samarium pots are magnets formed by the alloy of samarium and cobalt, covered with a metal casing. Their good behavior with oxidation and corrosion, together with the good stability of the magnetic curve, make these magnetic products more attractive.
Its positive coercive values favor its resistance to demagnetization. They are also suitable for different uses thanks to their resistance to high temperatures, 350ºC.
The working temperature for samarium bases is quite adequate for most applications, being able to use from 0ºC to 350ºC, without presenting problems with oxidation.
The uses of the samarium pots magnets with those of neodymium are very similar. Being a group of pot magnets very used. Factors such as resistance to high temperatures, favor their applications in interiors of engines, heat detectors and others, since magnets with thermal stability are required.
