Description
Characteristics:
Depending on the size of pile to be separated, different measurements and magnet quality will be used for the Separators. These magnetic separators can be produced in two magnet qualities: Neodymium and Ferrite.
Choosing the right size of separator depends on the following parameters:
- Thickness of the metal sheets.
- Size of the sheets.
- Height of the pile.
- Surface quality of the sheet.
- Conditions of the sheet (moisture, oil,…).
When choosing a separator, we recommend following these guidelines:
Maximum surface to separate per separator:
- For normal sheets up to 0,3m2
- For sheets with oil up to 0,15m2
If the sheets are to be lifted by an automatic process, more separators will be needed and should be placed around the pile. Also, a mechanical system to move the sheets will be required.
